reviews for Goodbye, Fawkes by Crookshanks Tuesday 15th November 2005 23:49 | Goodbye, Fawkes | YAY! More of your brillant Fawkes pictures. Well done, he really looks sad. I hope you keep drawling more. Also, the blood colour instead or fire? great idea! It makes him look.....hmmm, lonely if anything. Great job and keep 'em coming!

I feel bad.. you love these phoenixes so much! Shame this
is the last one until I can get to the decent art shop.. which may be
some time.. :-( I'm glad you like him.. the blood colour symbolises his
pain and loss.. aww.. I love symbolism.. especially when its really
discrete
| Tuesday 15th November 2005 22:18 | Goodbye, Fawkes | Looks almost as though he's burning out--the darkened color implying the flames cooling off a bit... | Tuesday 15th November 2005 22:18 | Author Response | Thats what I thought.. kinda like the wick of a burnt out candle? Thanks
| Tuesday 15th November 2005 00:40 | Goodbye, Fawkes | Fawkes looks rather sad in this picture. There's none of the "fire" in his feathers as in the others and with his head under his wing like that he must be getting ready to sing his lament. You've done a nice job with his eye again. This time it seems to me that he's studying the viewer to discover whether it's really true that Dumbledore is really gone. | Tuesday 15th November 2005 00:40 | Author Response | You got it down to a tee! Thankyou for being smart! The actual reason
why he isnt as orange is because i ran out of yellow paint.. but I like
your idea better! He is miserable though.. and for that exact reason!
