For a second there, I thought that the person was a girl, and was Ginny and Harry's daughter. Guess not. The way that Harry is trapped inside such beauty, while he is wallowing deep in his own pain makes the picture fantabuleous. 100% pure greatness.

It's easy to think it's a girl because of all the pink. But then, you saw exactly what I wanted to show, beauty, sadness, pain....

oooh! I gather that's the RAB locket he's holding? I like the scene you've set up, and the (mostly) monochromatic rendering ... very sweet.

The expression on his face contrasts quite a bit with his surroundings- you think that he should be more celebratory, not sad! The blossoms actually make him seem all the more sad- feeling trapped by the relentless beauty, when he himself isn't doing as well as he could be at the moment...

Beautifully done- have I commented on your work before? I think that you're going to be a stunning edition to this website. Off to look at the rest of your work.

*Sigh* I also love the way his eyes stick out from everything else- awesome, baby.
Yes, that's what I thought it was. Aside from this being lovely, it offers a powerful story behind it, even if it is untold.

For a second I thought this was a girl because of that appropriately placed petal in his hair...(it looks like a barrette). But then I looked closer, and I realized it was Harry. I really like this because his expression is just perfect, and his body posture is nice as well.

There's a long story to this.... Sakura, the cherry blossoms have great meaning in the Japanese culture. It's a bitter-sweet picture, Harry contemplates his own mortality. Dumbledore just died, and Harry holds R.A.B's locket in his hand.

It is striking how everything is in shades of red and pink and then Harry's eyes are green, (naturally). It makes them stand out even more.

I totally adore this pic. So peaceful, so serene, and the pinks and reds harmonize wonderfully. Poor little Harry, he seems so lost and helpless...
