I love how you pay attention to the little details, such as wands sticking out of their pockets and the chain of Regulas' locket trailing out of Harry's fist.

Exactly how I pictured it in the book. At his most desperate hour, only Ginny can pull him out of his misery and save him. It's beautiful

Powerful!! i can see that they love each other more than life in this picture!! The pain and understanding is wrighten in there eyes. i can't explain it. it's powerfull and emotional. it's something you can't explain with words. it's just simply understood. i hope i can learn to do that some day.

I am speechless... this is incredible artwork... you reflect Harry's loss and Ginny's care so well... you even have Dumbledore beautifully done. no words can describe how well you have done... wow

This is such a beautiful, moving scene. The hands and posing are excellent. I'd like to see a more feminine Ginny though -- maybe less angular nose & brows? Harry's profile is great. Where can I see more of your work? :-)

Your Ginny looks freakisly like my mom when she was a teen. I love the drawing! I bawled a that part of the book.

Nicely done. I like how you protrayed Ginny. She looks like a real person. Not too cute, but still attactive.

I had to come and look at this one again. Such a wonderful job conveying the grief and the silent onlookers and Ginny's caring helpfulness.
Beautiful!

Wow. This is a really good picture! This scene from the book is very well captured here. Harry and Ginny look perfect... exactly how this scene is supposed to look like. Amazing job... you're a really talented artist.

Harry, Come On...
mmm...i've reviewed this one before...but i have to say, i'm rather intrigued by Harry in this one..he's got a verrry nice profile, he does!

You're a very talented artist. i really love to draw and color, but i'm terrible at sideways drawings..like looking at something from the side, but it's worse with people. can you by any chance help me??? give me some pointers??

What I wouldn't give for skill like yours...

Oh God, and I just noticed Dumbledore lying there. My tear ducts just went to work. This is the best depiction of Harry's mourning I've seen yet, by far. I can't even tell you how touching this is.

Thank you SO much for sharing your talent with the world.

Oh my God!!

this is absolutely amazing. it's beautiful. i just can't explain it. and i just wish sooo bad i could have this up on my wall, or posted on the desktop of my computer. the colors are amazing. the emotions are perfect. you captured Harry's determined stare perfectly--that's how i pictured it. and there's Ginny...trying to break through to him.

and thank you for not showing Dumbledore's face, i probably would have started crying

oh, please do more of these! you are a superb artist! this is gorgeous, thank you for sharing!

Definately your best pic yet. I do think Ginny looks a little old, but otherwise quite good.

This is a wonderful picture. It captures that really sad moment perfectly. I especially like the way Ginny is focused on Harry. Her concern for him really shows in her expression.

~Awesome work!

This scene was one that I vividly held in my mind when I first read HBP and sticks with me. So many emotions after the assault on the school. The fact that Harry wouldn't leave until that someone special came to him. The shadowing and lines give great detail, espacially from the viewpoint of the early morning timeframe that it took place in. The slightly blurred shirt supports the surreal mindset I imagine the characters would be in from the events that took place.

~Well captured.

Harry, Come On...
Oh my!

All the little details on the characters, from Dumbledore's hair pooling on the ground, to the locket clutched in Harry's hand and the bloodstains and shading on his shirt, very well done. I also though I should say that I think you draw a very pretty Ginny. She looks genuinely concerned here.

Very moving, and very well done!

this is greatly drawn, moving picture... Harry is just as i would like to have imagined.

Harry, Come On...
So beautiful. I love the look of numb disbelief on Harry's face and the look of brave concern on Ginny's. And Ginny's hair. And the detail on Harry's body. And the stars. And everything else. Well done!

Wow. that's really good. The shading is wonderful. Gosh. I can't complain about anything. It's amazing.

Harry, Come On...
You've done a great job capturing the moment. The only other thing that I envisioned being in this scene when I imagined it was a Dark Mark reflecting off thier backs. Though to do that would make it more sinister.
Again, Lovely,
Ryanaven

Harry, Come On...
Oh, I LOVE it! It makes me want to go back and reread just to get to that part of the novel. I remember wondering what he looked like to all of his friends when they saw him. I wondered if we'd ever see a picture of it and if it would be possible to show him as ravaged outwardly as he is inwardly.

Great, great job. You did it.

I swear Harry looks alive, like he will move any second . . .

OKAY! I'm all good now! Alright, now I can speak. First of all, HARRY IS SMOKIN' HOT!!! Ginny looks so mature, so...perfect.

BUT HARRY IS THE HOTTEST BOY I'VE EVER SEEN IN A PICTURE!!! I mean, the hottest harry I've every seen. Great job! And I love everything about this picture- except Dumbledore being dead, of course!

I love it. I love how it seems like every muscle in his body is tense - except the hand that she's holding just seems to soften. It's beautiful.

Harry, Come On...
Oh...so sad! You've done a marvelous job conveying the emotions of the moment. I love how compassionate Ginny is as she tries to coax Harry away from Dumbledore's body. The other thing I really like about this pic is that you've done a great job showing how wet Harry's clothes are...there's just the right amount of "cling" to them to suggest his recent swim. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Harry, Come On...
This is gorgeous. I like that you can't see Dumbledore's face, and Harry's and Ginny's faces are just beautiful. The way Harry is loosely clutching the locket chain is well done. He just looks limp in disbelief, but not broken and destroyed. Excellent, excellent job.

Harry's face looks really sad... I like how Dumbledore's hair is all over the place and how Ginny is trying to get Harry to stand. Harry's shirt is nicely done and so is the way he's clutching the locket. Great work!

I think I'm going to cry! This has to be my very favorite pic of yours. Touching down to the very tiniest detail!

Tuesday 19th September 2006 20:41
Harry, Come On...
This is just beautiful -- the little details especially with the locket chain coming out of Harry's fist and their wands sticking out of their pockets (Moody would be appalled!) -- the scratch on Harry's arm and their expressions. It is truly all just wonderfully depicted.

Tuesday 19th September 2006 20:32
Harry, Come On...
This is beautiful... Absolutely wonderful... you managed to capture everything Ginny must have been fealing with her expression and everything... and also what Harry felt... absoolutely wonderful!

Thiugh I do have to make one tiny, teensy, nitpick... I feel that Ginny's nose is a bit rough rounded... it needs to be less round so that it can give her a more feminine look but other than that everything is perfect... especially her eyes... all the emotion in them is wonderful!

Wow, what a good picture, i actually signed in to review it. I absolutely love your Harry, its one of my favorties I think.

Harry, Come On...
this is so, so good. I love the general mood, and the way you've managed to make it overflow with emotion. I also think you've produced one of the most accurate Ginnys as well - definitely how I imagine her. You can see she's her own person yet I can still see how Ron's her brother...if that makes any sense?! Just generally fabulous. A HUUUUUGE
