| I love this! We need more richly illustrated canon scenes like this! The background is wonderfully detailed -- Fawkes is a nice touch, as are all the contrasting light sources. Harry's expression really shows that moment of realization and firm resolution. |

Dear god, you're all GENIUSES! JK Rowling's a genius, and you're a genius, and this picture is simply AMAZING... you've captured the mood of the quote and Harry and Dumbledore and everything so perfectly! All I can do is stutter incoherently from the sheer brilliance of it all. I was feeling a bit anti-HBP before this, but you've definitely changed my mind!

Considering the way the book went, that has to be the one of the better scenes, when Harry realized why he was going to fight.
The pic brings it out better than the scene in the book, as if Harry is lost in a memory during Dumbledore's funeral. You definitely brought out the meaning of the quote here. |

I just love this piece of artwork. The composition, use of colour and the light and shadow effects are very well done.
I especially like the Harry in this. I'm not a fan of the Gambone version of Dumbledore and would have much preferred the Harris version, but that is simply personal preference and this Dumbledore is still well done.
I'll be sending this link out to my fan group so that they all can get a look at this lovely picture.

| This is a beautiful picture. You show how highly Dumbledore thinks of Harry and how much Dumbledore's praise/advice means to him. You've also made the office one where anyone who enters immediately feels at home. I love how you've included Fawkes [I hope he's preening because sleeping birds tuck their heads under their wings] in his rich oranges and reds and added the book and quill to the foreground. This is definitely a picture I will be coming back to often. |

| Wow. This is beautifully rendered. The office is so detailed and yet doesn't obscure the meaning of the piece--the grave exchange of looks between Harry and Dumbledore. The soft moonlight highlighting their features gives it such a nice glow. Wonderful, wonderful! |
