They seem untainted by the movies (not that the movies aren't fun, but why draw our own pictures if we're just copying what the actors look like?). This Sirius is definately a Black, you can see he grew up in a dark and affluent family. I'm imagining your portraits of Bellatrix, Sirius and Andromeda are some pureblood eqivalent of a debutant/coming of age tradition, since they all look so young. I'm sure the Blacks would have some such custom. Thanks. |
