I loved that line from the books... so Ginny...
| Friday 22nd August 2008 12:20 | Ginny Sneaks Into the Broomshed | Lovely piece, though she could use a little more bum in my opinion (her back is a little too straight-line-down-the-leg past the curve of her low back, but it could be an issue of the angle she's standing at). Love how you've gone in and put the grain in the wood on the shed, great detail!
And the text reference in your head is from canon - OOTP chapter 26: Seen and Unforeseen:
'Ron and Ginny not here?' asked Fred, looking around as he pulled up a chair, and when Harry shook his head, he said, 'Good. We were watching their practice. They're going to be slaughtered. They're complete rubbish without us.'
'Come on, Ginny's not bad,' said George fairly, sitting down next to Fred. 'Actually, I dunno how she got so good, seeing how we never let her play with us.'
'She's been breaking into your broom shed in the garden since the age of six and taking each of your brooms out in turn when you weren't looking,' said Hermione from behind her tottering pile of Ancient Rune books.
'Oh,' said George, looking mildly impressed. 'Well — that'd explain it.'
Someone else here may have referenced the scene, but it's not their line originally. | Thursday 7th August 2008 13:01 | Ginny Sneaks Into the Broomshed | Now this is cute. I can just see her pushing the door open just a little more so she'll have enough light to sellect the broom she wants to fly. I love her eyes and how shifty they are as she scans the garden warily for anyone who can tell her "no." | Thursday 7th August 2008 13:01 | Author Response | Thanks so much! I've always wanted to post on here but I've never had the courage. Your review means a lot! |
