I really love this picture! What couple on the face of the planet has'nt done something like this? Every time I see this I smile. I remember how it felt at seventeen with a beautiful girlfriend to spend hours with like this. Now my beautiful wife and I do this from time to time. I hope you don't mind but this is the wallpaper for both of my computers. Please feel free to create more of these "quiet moments" so that I and others who want Harry and Ginny to be happy can add them to our collections.

I absolutely love Harry's feet in this, lol; I love everything, actually, but his feet make me smile. So sweet the way they have a seemingly relaxed pose, but their hands are gripping each other. Has anyone made an icon from this? Because I'd love to use one if there're some around.

Aw, how adorable!!   I think your picture really shows their closeness, and it's really representative of what they could become (hopefully a bit in HBP!)  Keep up the great work!

That is a wonderfully sweet moment.  And I hope it happens - for both their sakes.  To have that kind of peace and security in each other.  You've played it out on both their faces.  Beautifully done.

Thank you so much!  You know, it's high time I wrote my own / fic...

I absolutly love this picture.  It's such a odd phenomenon, you're in a position that you'd never be comfortable in normally but because you have a person with you it the most comfortable position in the world.  Anyways, great pic!

I love all of your art, but this one really captures Harry and Ginny, I think...  I would love to see more.  Do you have others?

Thanks for sharing this with us!

I tend not to take terribly much interest in fanart,  its rare for any picture to really hold my attention more than a moment or two...  There's something about this picture though that really draws me in and keeps me coming back to it...   :-)

Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor....

OK.  Now I can speak more coherently.

Like others have said, I love this.It really speaks to me, as well (and has caused a few plot bunnies to start nibbling around my ankles!)  I love the little details--the wrinkles in Harry's clothes, for example, or the tassles on the blanket.  And Ginny's hair!  I love her hair.

This is lovely, and I at your talent!

Thank God...finally another wonderful artist that ships H/G. Just to let you know I've started using this image as my background on the desktop on my laptop.

There is just something about this pictures that screams 'sweet romance'. I like how you captured the baggy clotes on Harry (Dudley's hand-me downs) and how Ginny isn't dressed in the latest fashions...but most likely is wearing a pair pajama bottoms she inherited from one of her brothers.

Thank you for starting to post...as a writer I've found this image inspiring.

Thank you!  I'm a writer, too... lately I've sort of shifted gears with my creative energies, but all sorts of romantic scenarios fill my head with this drawing.  I'm really flattered that you like it so much.

The feet are a bit out of perspective - either that or Harry has really big feet opposed to the rest of his body - like most teenage boys.

Love the expression on their faces, though. I've imagined this in many fics. Good work.

Hmmm... *resists making bad joke about guys with big feet*... I've had a few comments on the feet, and I actually think they're correct, considering the perspective, the socks being loose, and that they're about the length of his forearm, which is average.  They probably look too big because they're juxtaposed against Ginny's tiny feet, which are further away.  But that's just my opinion!

I don't understand why you aren't getting more reviews on this little masterpiece... it would deserve to have more, seriously. Your best art.

This looks extremely sweet. The proportions seem a little off, but I think that's because of your choice in style. The colors are so nice and bold, it really is nice!

Absolutely gorgeous, and you did excellent work with the hands in this one.  Do you ever allow people to do icons of your work if they credit?

Actually, I've never been asked!  I don't mind at all, except I don't really have my own site or gallery yet (deviantART account is coming along very slowly).  Most of my work can currently be found at Artistic Alley (shmink), so I guess you could link there.... thanks!

There's something about this piece that I just love. Possibly because it could be connotated in several different ways. Some might see harry and ginny grieving for someone lost...Other's might percieve them as being asleep in each other's arms...I prefer to see them both as enjoying a quiet moment of solitude. This piece just screams comfort and home, and I guess that's the Biggest reason why i like it...it makes you yearn for someone to share a moment with...excellent work...

Aww, that's just too cute. They look like teenagers, yet ones that are so grown up.  Well done.
