of other people who have, I think you'll find the answer is, "War isn't
that personal for the soldier; it's about survival, kill or be killed."
I can't imagine it being any different for people engaged in combat in
the Potterverse.

I think that I'd probably try to work for a cease-fire, if pressed, just to save the innocent from a life of pain. You write of the realities of wizard war here, but you aptly describe what is going on all over the world in a myriad of conflicts. Your work has made me think and I'm not sure I like my answers at all. Well done! |
