I finally refound this story! This just made my night!

love it - you write Tonks and Remus (and I'm sure other things as well) perfectly.

also, if your name is in reference to Daine, well, then, that's just even more awesome

awww cute story!
She smirked at him and settled back again. “All right, don’t get your knickers in a twist. I’ll behave. At least while Molly’s within a hundred feet.” She shuddered. “Can you imagine? It’d be like getting caught shagging by your mum. Actually, no. Scratch that. I did get caught shagging by my mother. Molly would be much worse.”

I loved that line! so funny!

Oh, I loved this! I enjoyed your portrayal of the characters and their relationship - it felt right. The tattoo was such a perfect gift - it would seem weird for anyone else, but it works for Tonks. Excellent work!

I'm sorry about the lateness of this reply, I'm winding up for the end of my uni year, so everything's been a bit crazy, but thank you so much for the lovely comments! I'm glad if it seemed believable to you.

This is adorable! I love it! Congratulations. The characterization was excellent, Molly's particularly struck me for some reason. Well done!

Hee. Don't we all? I'm thinking that even if I cut my hair short and dyed it pink, I still wouldn't be able to attract an endearing werewolf professor, though. Pity! Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed reading it!

I absolutely love this study of Remus’ and Tonks’ relationship. You’ve captured their personalities and personal reservations/brashness extremely well…in a word, these two are very believable in this situation. My favourite Remus line is the one about his not having climbed a tree since he was twelve and the fact that Tonks is utterly taken with his gift went straight to my soft, fuzzy spot. As for the tattoo, it looks as if she’s ready to make a permanent commitment to him whether he likes it or not. [I’m anticipating the second phase of her present almost as much as Remus must be if only to see what the rest of the picture is.] The sentiment behind her gift seems to have endeared itself to him, thus further cementing the fact that he can find romance and real commitment even this late in his life. This is a story I want to read again.

Thank you! I can't say enough about how much I appreciated your review. I wasn't sure about a lot of aspects of this story, and your comments were very encouraging. I'm especially glad if it seemed a believable account of Remus and Tonks. I love them in canon, but they're difficult characters. Despite all their differences, though, they do seem to fit and I really hope their relationship is cemented in book 7. Thank you for reading!

Oh, thank you for this darling story. If I was to tell you my favourite lines I would practically rewrite the whole thing! Everytime Tonks or Remus spoke I though, "that's so Tonks" (or Remus, obviously!) Wonderful dialogue, and wonderful being inside Remus's head - he's lovely in a sweet and heartbreaking way.

Thanks, Ladybug! Your review seriously made my day earlier. I was having trouble with the dialogue, so I'm very relieved if it comes across in-character. And Remus is lovely. He's such a gorgeous man. Thank you for reading!

Thanks, Jeanne! I love the R/T relationship, too. They're one of the couples in HP that just click for me. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Your story was very sweet. I liked the intimate look into their relationship, to actually read their thoughts and the feelings between them. This is an excellent story.

Their gifts for each other are so sweet and thoughtful, and very Tonks and Remus.

Hugely relieved if you liked the gifts. I really wasn't sure about that part and whether it would come across in-character or not. So I really appreciate the comment!

“You love me,” she announced smugly. Tiny dimples bracketed her delighted smile.

Women and the things they make their men do. Good thing Remus passed his test. Very enjoyable little fic.

Well done! I thoroughly enjoyed your use of humor, wit, and sarcasm in this piece- it was well done, and writing humor isn't easy. Very nice prose too- the fic read smoothly and the weaving of the words was lovely! Wonderful dialog as well. I loved the contrast between the barbs and the touching sentiment.

Keep up the great work- there isn't enough R/T fiction out there!

Loves it! Amazingly written. The dialogue is comfy and friendly--and they are both in character--something that is soo wonderful to see! Tonks is really funny, and Remus is Remus.

Thank you! I'm glad that you liked it, and I'm glad that the dialogue seemed comfortable because I was trying to make it not seem too stiff. And if either of them comes across at all in character, that's always a bonus!
