WOW... A wonderful story! couldn't stop laughing enough to get this review written! I liked the idea of harry trying to scare her (her face would be priceless, wouldn't it!), loved the plant ( I found out through your reviewers about andrew 2 - since the movie never reached so far as to Romania, unfortunately) and loved, most of all, the lovely kiss at the end! Thanks for sharing! |

It's never so bad it ain't good for nothing, and this plant definitely
had it's mission. Professor Sprout ought to get detention,
though. Honestly.

I think the plant is a Krelbourne Trap, do I get house points? Anyway that was an awsome story very good job, I loved how Harry kept moving the plant as Ginny went ot cut it, hillarious.
Great job, keep writing, and Plez write back

This is a really fun story. I love the reference to Seymore in "The Little Shop of Horrors." I'm glad Ginny got kissed at the end, though. At least that made her detention and the subsequent difficulties worthwhile! |

Great bit, I must say. I've reviewed for this before, but it hasn't lost any of its appeal!

Brilliant! Absolutely wonderful! I really love the idea of a posessed plant, and even more so- that kiss at the end! *sigh* It was so very Harry. I had a huge smile on my face by the end of this!

Your summary was utterly hilarious. It was, of course, what attracted me to this story. =)
Your work is really wonderful--you are a great writer. It was a very humorous story--I could just imagine the look on Sprout's face when the plant started to curse.

Aww, cute, and different. That plant scared the bajeezes out of me! I would NOT want to cross it's path without a wand. I don't know what the plant is called, but it reminds me of something from Jumangi...Bravo!

Hee! HP meets Little Shop of Horrors. I know the plant's name was Audrey II in the show, but don't remember if they said what kind it was. This was cute! |
DailyProphetReporting Friday 20th August 2004 02:24 | Plant Food |
Well, that's one of the more interesting crossovers you're going to see. But the Audrey II (or is this Audrey III?) definitely fits with the plants and creatures we've seen at Hogwarts. Hagrid would love it!
Actually, I thought that was a rather neat (if somewhat bizarre) twist to the common Harry-and/or-Ginny-in-detention plot. You don't see too many stories where a singing plant is the catalyst that bring Harry and Ginny together.
Anyway, this was a fun read. Ginny's reactions to Harry's, erm, whitty comments had me chuckling, and so did Audrey's lines. Nice, and certainly creative. Now if only you'd made it a musical like Little Shop of Horrors ...

Yay Audrey!
Very nice, Rachel! I had to giggle at the plant's remarks--and especially at Prof. Sprout's reaction! Delightful / fluff. |

Well I don't remember the name of the plant in "Little Shop of Horrors" but I'm guessing that was the inspiration, eh? Good job! |

Seymour? Sounds a lot like the one in Little Shop of Horrors (only that one didn't swear, did it?)
Thanks for yet another a great fluffy ficlet.
Three Cheers for Pooca! |

Yay!!! How cute, I love it! Thanks for a great story! |
XiaoXiao Thursday 19th August 2004 00:37 | Plant Food |
Well, I'm not sure if I'm the first one, but the plant is named Audrey II! I was in that play once. This is such a funny little ficlet. I normally don't like crossovers, but this barely counts, and it was so entertaining that I would have read it anyway. Very cute!

You kyped Audrey from Little Shop of Horrors? Hee hee hee!
Poor Ginny. Typical Weasley luck, try to trim a witch eating plant. At least it made Harry laugh! Made me laugh, too! Good work! |

Feed me, Seymour!
Thanks for the story... that was fun. |
