Very good job on this chapter. Way to keep me guessing. I am against arranged marriages but that was a creative way to make the arrangement and I couldn't have picked a better couple to wind up getting married (but not because they had to). If that even made sense. Hope you know what I meant.

Hi there!
Taking a little break before I hit the books again. I have a Math test tomorrow and I think I need a break. This summer is not going to be fun.
Anyway, so far- so good. love the fact that you always include some humor in whatever chapter you are working. I could close my eyes and imagine the James and Arthur you describe.
Got to go---going back to read the next chapter. Great Job!!!

Found my way to this story from the Accio FanFiction nominations.
Two things struck me with the prologue. One, you truly captured how much Harry was loved by his parents. It made me sad, thinking of this little baby losing that. Two, how fun it was to pair up James and Arthur. Visions of Harry and Ron kept poking into my head as I read. Great start. Off to read more. |

Where do you get your plot bunnies from?? This was great. I loved the interraction between the Order members, and how Harry and Dumbledore had a "connection" (I think it was more than Dumbledore being commanding, but that's just my interpretation) even when Harry was so little.
The banter between Lily and James is exactly what I imagine it would have been like, if I think about them at all. And him mentioning him "letting" her into the Order made me chuckle. She seems the type (from OotP) who wouldn't settle for allowance of anything.
Seeing Arthur in action was also very interesting. I just don't see him as action hero, so seeing him kick some DE .... well, you know... was another facet of his character that I've never thought about. I also like how he couldn't make a Portkey, because he wasn't a senior Ministry member.
I have a question about this:
Harry Potter – DOB 31/7/80
Child Weasley – DOB –unknown- estimated at 14/8/81
Binding
Would it have been just as binding if Ginny was to be a boy? I know James worded it as "girl" but this Quill didn't know she was a girl, and still wrote it down as the 7th Weasley child.
