Aww!! I love it You should really consider writing a seventh year sequel to Red Is The Heart. I mean, I know the whole series is done and everything, but you have so much material to work with for a seventh book! I think you could do a really nice job with it Just like you did for this story!

It was fun to build "wallpaper" world as I called it. I didn't go so far as try a seventh year fic, but after this I wrote another H/G comes together story called Magic Within, Magic Without. It's from Ginny's point of view and it's still my favorite H/G story that I've written. I hope you'll check it out. Thanks for reading!

At least fan fiction Harry had a good birthday! Still canon Harry got a kiss.

Will you be doing a story about Seamus the dragon wrangler? I really like the way you've rounded out some of the minor characters in the potterverse. Thank you for writing and for sharing your talent.

I'm glad you liked this story - it seemed to wrap things up from Red is the Heart . Unfortunately, JKR didn't give him as fun of a birthday. Thanks for reading!

I'm glad you liked it. I really should put a list of the stories I've written in order on my profile page. That might help! Thanks for taking the time to track down this story and for letting me know! Hope you like NZ Chronicles - it's a long one!

loved it, jus loved it! Always nice to read your story's and of course it is nice to read that Harry has a nice birthday present in the form of Ginny.
Friday 24th August 2007 10:46Leaving Privet Drive (Author Response)
Yes, Ginny would be the best present of all for him. I'm just sorry that his real 17th birthday wasn't as enjoyable in canon. Thanks for reading and letting me know.

I don't know about in Britain, but in America its illegal to read other people's mail, even in your own house -- the nerve of Petunia .
'"'Have a cow,'" Harry said.' -- great line
Monday 2nd October 2006 15:37Leaving Privet Drive (Author Response)
I don't think reading Harry's mail (which she did in book one) is the worst thing Petunia's ever done. It's for all those other things she gets a herd of cows. Thanks for reading!

The funny thing is - Harry was fairly sensitive in HBP - bless his heart. I was really happy I guessed that he would leave the anger behind him in book six! Thanks for reading!

Awesome!

I have just sat and read through all 3 parts to this story, and I loved it. You have a wicked sense of humour and a great storyline to match. If you ever decided to write year 7, I would love to read it.

Keep this up. It was brilliant.

I'm glad you liked these "old" stories. The closest I've come to a seventh year story is The Frog Prince of Slytherin (It's Theodore/Luna) and the Christmas Challenge over on SIYE. Those are HBP compliant, however. Thanks so much for reading and letting me know! I'm always happy to hear from readers.

This is a great fic, perfect and feels very much like an Epilogue for Red Is The Heart (which I read ages ago and I don't know why I never left a review). I particularly enjoy Nott the way you picture him, I find him really funny and interesting. You've done a great job writing him, seeing as we never really got to see any of him in the books. And that little Fred and George part was... well, typical Fred and George.

Thanks for such a great piece of work! ~Sonia

I'm glad you liked it! LOL - you'd think I would have figured out how to end my story - but a year later I finally did. I was really hoping we'd see Theodore Nott in HBP - but alas - Slughorn was our good Slytherin. This was a fun story to write. Thanks for the review!

Wow, I really love your fics.  I just read them all and I love your writing style.  Are you going to do a seventh year fic?  I would love to read what you come up with.

Thanks for reading!  I won't have time before HBP comes out to continue this series - but I'm sure I'll dream something up for Harry's seventh year!

Oooohhh, that's so good.  I love Sweet/Sensitive Harry.  I'm still aching for a 7th year fic after this though.  We just can't get enough, and you gave such tantalizing information about how Harry could defeat Voldemort.  You just have to follow through.  Please!

Keep up the great work!

Monday 18th April 2005 09:36Leaving Privet Drive (Author Response)

Aw! Thanks for reading.  I'm glad you liked it!  I hope the HBP won't mess me up too much for a continuation of this world.  While I don't think H/G will wallpaper Spinner's End - I do hope that we will see some progression in their relationship.  Sigh.

I won't be able to write a seventh year fic. before summer - but I promise that I will continue more H/G goodness after that!

Ohhh. Very nice.

The thought of Dudley with a girlfriend is weird. But I suppose it had to happen sooner or later.

I like that you had the same people come to get Harry who left them him there in the first place.

And it seems to me that Phineas was a little bit more pleasent towards Harry, and people in general. I wonder if he was always that way, and is just showing it now, or if the change in decoration brightend his spirits some. I know that dorm rooms can be depressing when they're bare walls, and that I feel much better when there are new posters and pictures up. So perhaps the same concept applies with Phineas?

I like that Harry is being sensative, though I'm not entirely certain I understand why the idea bothers him so much.

The idea of giving a herd of dairy cows to the Dursley's made me laugh aloud. Well, they wanted his inheiritance... ;-)

A nicely done epilogue. :)

Saturday 9th April 2005 07:20Leaving Privet Drive (Author Response)

Did you notice that Dudley picked out someone just like Petunia?

It's true that your environment affects you - so perhaps between the decorating and having a Slytherin in the house, could explain his good mood.

Well, Harry has to learn to accept his softer side - old habits die hard, I suppose.

I'm glad you took the time to read this!  Thanks!

Hi LeAnn!  I love the cheerleaders!  I'm glad you liked the story.  I took me long enough to finish it all off, didn't it? LOL.  Oh well - better late than never!  I hope you'll beta for me in April if I can think of a good picnic story.  Thanks for your review!

I just wanted to say thanks.  I enjoy your stories, your characterizations are so true to what I picture happening and I love your Harry/Ginny interactions.  Thanks for all your stories, they're some of my favorites!

I'm glad you liked it - and I really hope that when HBP comes out and we see more H/G (and we will - keep the faith) that their interactions will be just as happy as I have imagined.  Thanks for your review!

Nice.
I like the 'pint of firewisky for your first dragon burn.'
That was a nice touch.
I'm waiting to see..oh, you didn't. I would die laughing if you wrote out the cows appearing with a note for Aunt Petunia. That would be classic. "Here's your part of my inheiritance."

Good work.

I already reviewed this fic over at SIYE, but I've read it again now that it's posted here, and it made me laugh and smile all over again, especially the Phineas part.

When I first heard about your Lee Jordan fic, I was slightly disappointed to know it would be a while before you write H/G again, but once I beat back the H/G-obsessed side of my nature, I found I'm quite looking forward to it.  I've always liked Lee; his Quidditch commentaries and arguments with McGonagall are priceless.  So now your potential readership is up to, what, 6?  Woot!

Thursday 10th March 2005 05:53Leaving Privet Drive (Author Response)

Penny Lane, you are so sweet!  I'm glad to hear that I'm up to six.  Now I don't have to stand on the side of the road with this sign:

I've always liked Lee too - for the reasons you stated.  It's been fun to tour the magical world with him.  And I should have time to write more H/G before HBP comes out - so don't worry about them!

What a fun story.  I just loved Phineus' advice.  That was hysterical.  Of course, Petunia's demands for money was just typical.  I do think that Harry should give her the cows.

Another great job for you!

The very wide generation gap is so much fun to play with!  I've never put Petunia in a story really and that was about all I could take from her! Thanks for your review.

Lee jordan.  Well why not?  I would have thought, though, that having now seen Harry and Ginny safely to the isles of the blessed not once but twice your destiny was clearly to bring us an epic biography of ... Phineas Nigellus.

Do not sponsor whaling ships, indeed !

Wednesday 9th March 2005 09:53Leaving Privet Drive (Author Response)

Yes - Phineas needs his story told.  One reviewer likened him to Mr. Burns on the Simpsons - and that's so true in this situation!  Perhaps he's had as colorful of a past as Mr. Burns.  Thanks for your review.  I hope you'll check out Lee's story when I post it!

Lee Jordan?  Not what I would typically read, but if it's you...

This was a great end to your overall story.  I love your Phineas!  French brandy indeed.  Well, there's a lot that I love--thanks for making my baby's naptime(s) into something relaxing.  I'll be looking forward to the next story.  :) --PG

I thought I responded to your review yesterday - but it didn't seem to "take."  Thanks for reading my story when you should have been napping -  you know the saying, nap when baby naps.  That's the only way I survived those "bleary" years!  And thanks for throwing in your support for my Lee story - I'm working hard on it!

Oh good - I'm up to five potential readers now! LOL.  I really need a large extended family to flesh out an audience!  I hope you'll like it - I've six chapters written already - lots of Fred and George and magical singles London.  And fluff - lots of fluff.

Thanks for this update.  I think it makes the whole story much more complete.  I feel that Harry's sixth year is now truly over with his escape from the Dursleys.  I know that your ending on Platform 9 & 3/4 is what we would see in canon, but this is much more satisfying.

Having Hagrid, McGonagall, and Dumbledore collect Harry at Privet Drive was a very nice scene.  And the way that Bill delivered Harry to Ginny was very sweet (but not sensitive, not Bill).

As always, special thanks for sharing this with us.

Tuesday 8th March 2005 16:06Leaving Privet Drive (Author Response)

I'm sure Bill is sensitive to Fleur! I'm glad you liked it.  Once I finally figured out how to end this story (months later) I realized that it is now a complete circle from birthday to birthday.  ( I finally thought out of the box to the circle )

I'm glad you liked it and I hope you'll come back and read my non H/G fic. some time after Easter.

Ooh, I'm so excited to find you are writing the next part. I have been waiting for that and was starting to wonder if you were going to continue it. Yea! You have made my day. As always, it's up to your typically great quality.  I, along with everyont else, however, is more interested in your next long story...you know, the one that has Harry and Ginny defeat Moldiewarts, married, and popping kids out like popcorn?

Yeah.

Again with the food analogies!  If only having a child was as easy as popping out corn! Men.

Next long story is not H/G and it has been quite the adjustment for me!  There were days when I was like this guy:   Hopefully a few people will read it!  Look for my Lee Jordan fic. sometime after Easter.

Hmm, is this a one-shot, or were you going to do more with that inheritance issue?   Just seeing again that bit with Petunia and it just doesn't quite seem to be enough.  Sigh, guess I'm just vindictive enough that I'd like to see both her and Vernon get their faces rubbed in the fact that Harry is really quite wealthy...

thanks, Mary, lovely as usual.
