Fabulous. Very creative way to bring the prophecy out -- using the game orb.
Claire has to stir up trouble and why did Harry have to respond that way -- just hormone?? Poor Ginny.

| It's been really sweet so far, I like it, but I think Gred and Forge would have taken greater offense to the Snog in the kitchen between H/G. I don't think they could have let it go that easily. |

Everytime things are different. Similar, but different and I'm curious to see just how much more of the story changes. Are all the major plot points going to be the same or does this reworking change them too?

Heh. I guessed right. I think last chapter I posted my guess that the orb would disclose the prophecy.
I love JKR's introduction of the prophecy as a mechanism for drama and
angst in her series and have enjoyed the various ways that fan fiction
authors have exploited the device. This was a novel approach and
I enjoyed the others' reactions, both when they were reading the
question and as a consequence of Hermione's guessing the target was
Harry. And Hermione came through *very* nicely as her caring
self. Now there's just Ginny to tell ... I look forward to seeing
her reaction.

I just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed reading this story, and I
don't usually enjoy these kinds of stories. I got to wonder about
Claire- is she a witch? MAybe got some Veela blood in her? Or perhaps
Voldemort is trying to sabatoge Harry's new relationship with Ginny and
keep him miserable? Intersting...
