I had to smile and laugh out loud as I read this. "Come , my sweet." he says to Mrs. Norris because he can't say it to her. Where is Mr. Norris anyway!

Reading over my last review, it sounds kind of rude, and I didn't mean it that way, so I thought I'd clarify. This is a good drabble, a good missing moment, even scarier because it's...plausible (which again makes me want to go EEEW!). You nailed Filch. And this kind of makes me want to feel sorry for him, but not too much. Have you thought about doing one from Irma's POV? :)

Eeew!  Pilch Fic!  Eeew, eew, EEEEW!!!

But it was so totally implied in HBP. Nicely written, even if it gives me the heebie-jeebies!

Nice.  I was looking forward to a Filch/Pince missing moment!  Good work!

Poor Filch!  I almost feel sorry for him since I began reading this exerpt.  Well done.  You have captured his douer essence quite well.  I enjoyed reading your posting.

Some might find him just pathetic or amusing, but is is a very poignant piece for me, as the image of the implied couple before Dumbledore's funeral spurred an onslought of tears from myself. A heartstrings-tugging piece, and a very real thing to me; well done.

Hahahaha, that was excellent! Really, really good. A great look into Filch's tortured soul. Great job.
