Oh, that was fun!  I agree with you, far too little romance in HBP.  I bet their story comes around again in the 7th book.

A belated review - your posting came as a pleasant surprise and thus I'm late with expressing my pleasure with your new story.

It's a pity in a way that JKR never managed to write as good as you do - but on the other hand it is lucky, as she has generated a lot of authors that quite frankly outshine her at the moment!

I think you nailed Ginny's personality just right and it was pleasure to read! I hope that the plot bunnies cometh forth again - I seem to remember that you had another little plot bunny starting to grow sometime aroun Easter, any hopes of that growing into something?

As always it was a pleasure to read your story! I hope you Ginevra is enjoying the summer BTW as much as this Ginevra is in your story.

Thump, thump, thump...pant, pant, pant...Wow, Mel, you can sure put it in words!  I love the line: "'You kissed me? I thought I kissed you,'"  It reminded my of a LONG time ago and and early G/F.

Then I got to the part with the frogs...that reminded me of another G/F...who became my wife!

Now, having said all that: I wonder about kids of their age, even though I write Gin's personality/sexual identity very similar to the way you do I have a little trouble seeing some of that scene in a 16 year old...but what the heck...great job.

I loved the part when Ginny and Harry challenged one another about what they knew about the other. That was very well written. And I also loved the squishing of the chocolate frog so Ginny could kiss some more off his hand. Very nice touch.

This was some awesome fluff, and you get an "O" for outstanding.

Job Well Done. :-)

Now, if you're up to the challenge, you should write the Quidditch match. I would love to see Ginny snip the snitch right under Cho's nose.

I was so happy to see that you had written a missing moment from HBP.  Very good as usual.  I don't think that the separation is going to last either.  I hope that you have plenty of ideas to write about.  We have another 2 years to wait for the next one!

Fabulous little moment. I must admit I was quite disapointed when I discovered JK wasn't going to tell me what happened between Harry and Ginny on their walk around the lake. Thank you for filling in the blanks for me. As always, you have written a clever little piece that shows the charming and giggly side of teenage romance. It made me squeal with girlish delight!

And I loved the very sensual use of chocolate! Wow, that lake sure gets steamy in the afternoon!

And I agree with you, Harry deserve to be happy! :)

I rather suspect they didn't.  This was a very nice scene.  You are bang on in remarking that there was too little romance in HBP.  Jo finally puts Harry and Ginny together and their romance is all off-camera.  Thanks for filling in one of the gaps.

AMEN!!   I had actually had an idea that someone needed to write this scene, too, and I'm soooo glad you did!  This is delightful, and soooo very *them*.  It just couldn't get any better!!

And no... their separation won't last.  Harry knows now who makes him the happiest he's ever been, and he won't give up, either.   

Oh this was absolute wonderfulness!  I really doubt they talked about the match either!  I'm with you - their little separation at the end ain't gonna last!  They're meant to be together!  Your a terrific author, I love your other stories as well.  This little ditty was lovely!

I've just found your stories and I think they're absolutely terrific! 

After finishing HBP this was the scene I most wished she'd included in the book!  I agree, she gave us far too little romance. But thank you for filling in the gap perfectly.  Very satisfying indeed.
