Read this before and still feel the same. It is so emotional it hurts. (But please remember, I am a grumpy old man).

The fact that you read this a second time says more than words alone. You're one of the reasons I enjoy writing so much!

Yeah, it was a bit hard to write at times, too! This was one of my earlier stories so I'm glad you liked it, even with its faults

This is a difficult one to comment on. The emotions are very personal and quite well described. A very difficult approach and you have handled it quite well. It is always one of the hardest types of descriptive writing - high emotion and intense pain. Very good try, but I must say only further practice will sharpen your skills. You are not quite there yet, but you are much better at it than I am now. It only needs a little tweaking to tighten the description. Perhaps spend a little more effort on first engaging the reader, then take them on the emotional journey.

Well done! Good effort and work.

I think it is a good story, I don't like it when harry dies but coming back for her is something I do like.

'Some believed it was her love calling him back, but no one ever really knew' -- nice line.
Very sad piece, though it does have a nice ending. Some of the changes seem a bit sudden to me, but that may just be me .
I think you do a good job expressing Ginny's anguish and loss. And it nice that Harry comes back to save her . But where is Harry, and why is he gone? You hint that he was dead, and came back to save her. But why? (And does that fit with what JKR says about death?). Why wouldn't he just wait till she came to be with him on the other side, where supposedly things are better? Can anyone come back from death in canon? And if Harry wasn't dead, where was he?

I'm glad you liked the way Ginny's pain was expressed. I worked very hard on that! As for Harry, I purposely left his absence vague. In this case I would rather have you, the reader, decide where he was in your own imagination. Perhaps he was just hovering somewhere between life and death. I suppose I did kind of stray from canon there, but it had to be so! Thanks for taking the time to review!

Wow. Well, I think this is the first I've read of your stories, but it certainly won't be the last. It was very dramatic, but in that wonderfully intense way, not in a bad soap-opera-y wayat all. It was very powerful! Wow. Again. I don't know what else to say, actually. The pain was almost tangible, and I love you described her being trapped inside of her mind. It was almost like poetry at times. Wonderful job! If it weren't such an ungodly hour I'd be making straight for your other fics, LOL. As it is, *sigh* they must wait until the morning. But I really enjoyed this. Fabulous job with it!

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind review! I'm glad you liked the intensity in a good way. I worked hard to make it feel like we're really inside Ginny's head during this painful time. Thanks again! You're too nice!

Beautiful imagery and sentiment. I was reading this while listening to Simon and Garfunkel -- not a good combination! So moving! Bravo, girl!

I'm proud of you! Thank you for sharing this with us. And stop by my LJ if you get a chance, okay? I want to chat with you about something.

Woah. A bit depressing, no?

But your writing is phenomonal. It really is. Although this story was so depressing that my heart just kept getting heavier and heavier with each word I read, it all came through in the end. Have you ever written your own novel? If not, you really need to consider it, because your writing style is the best I've read yet.

Excellent job, but stick to happier stories, ok?

I suppose it is a bit on the sad side. Not really my thing, actually. I generally write fluff so I'm not sure where the inspiration came from for this story.

To answer your other question, yes, I am in the process of writing a novel-length fic. Nothing original... yet, I'm sticking with HP for now. If (and that's a big if) I get it done this winter it will probably appear on PhoenixSong. It is by far my favorite of all the stories I've written so I hope I get to share it!

Certainly not what I was expecting given the title... but awesome job! Not quite sure I understand the "Your tear" line... but ah well. The pain and the angst came through magnificently in this piece. Hope to see some more of this style in the future!

I don't know if I can promise more of this 'cause I'm really more of a fluff kind of person, but perhaps some day... I'm glad you liked it enough to ask for more!

I think the idea that she called him back is good. - If you want to know why, you should read my story "Per Asperissima Ad Astra".

The Love of Harry and Ginny
title forwarned me, and it delivered. Too cliche, i've read too many (and that doesn't mean i've read a lot, i tend to avoid this) of these "show ginny's extreme grief, and make everything go ok by deus-ex-machina conjuring harry back" kinda stories... It just doesn't feel real enough. I always wanna read original, new ideas, instead of rehashing the same theme over and over again but putting it in new clothes.

Wow, simply wow. Once I got truely absorbed into the story, I was almost certain that Ginny would kill herself to be put out from the misery, but you switched it around and had Harry coming back. Very touching story, indeed. GREAT JOB!
