Kind of light, kind of fluffy - I like it!
The twins doing their usual thing to keep life entertaining without thinking through how it might really affect Harry - especially with the way he feels and thinks about Ginny. Only the girls seem to take it all in stride.
I know I've read this elsewhere, but that was before I became brave enough to review.

| This was really cute. I usually don't review things, I'm more a silent observer, but I really love all your stories. For me personally, you're the best fanfiction writer I've come across. I think it's because you capture the characters so well, and stick to canon and make the stories believable within their universe, all while creating an original plotline. I love them all! |

Melinda, I should have known you would find your way into this contest. And I'm not surprise that you placed in it. I love your stories. This was so hilarious. I laughed from the beginning straight through the end. I don't know how you do it, but you make me love HG more and more each time I read your work.
Tonks was my favorite character in this one. I love her interaction with Harry in the beginning. The whole step mother, and Harriella I think it was... that was so cute. You can tell that he's grown up a bit and trying to enjoy life after the war.
All the characters were great and right on point. Especially the twins. It's not very often they get the mickey taken out of them, and you seem to get that point across at the end there with Harry and the whole Ginny's red undergarments and stuff. They should have known better eh?
Congratulations on your win. Great Job!

I'd originally started this piece (written the Tonks and Harry exchange, anyway) for a post-CotD story about Harry receiving his Order of Merlin. That story never went anywhere, but I thought that little exchanged worked well in this one - so there you go! My beta was just happy Remus and Tonks lived in this one! |

Very nice story.
Although I don't think I'll easily get rid of this image: shiny gold pants – the size of which made him think they belonged to Ginny rather than Fred or George, and like Tonks, the material was barely containing them from my head.
That was a great concept for such a ridiculous occasion. But I wouldn't expect anything less funny from the twins.
