rereading the last chapter of OotP when it hit. The impression I got
was that a couple days passed between Sunday, when they're reading the
Prophet article in the hospital wing, and 'three days before the end of
term', when Madam Pomfrey lets Ron and Hermione out. Term ends June 30,
and the article says the Death Eaters broke into the Ministry late
Thursday, so Sirius died early Friday. I'd been wondering why only
seven festivals were represented in the prophecies here. Well, it just
hit me.
Sirius died on the Summer Solstice.
Litha isn't mentioned in relation to the Helm, because Litha is the day
that kick-started the Helm's return. It doesn't need to be mentioned,
because it already happened.
Am I right?

I'm glad you didn't try and write out the Sorting Hat song. I've seen some pretty bad ones. I'm glad for the synopsis. And the twist to it.
The vision. Classic. I like it. Muchly.
Dumbledore seems to have things in hand. Mostly. I'm glad your explanation was full of JUST enough information to keep us all guessing. It almost strayed into the Matrix-like Architect blather, but you walked the line pretty well.
