Sorry but I only come across this website 3/4 days ago and read The F word, part 4 first, loved that so made sure to find out if you wrote anything else, glad I did!
This was a reall good start, nice seeing someone write about Charlie, seems most people forget about him!
The scene with Andromeda & Harry was moving, and the one with Luna was a mixture of laughter & tears, a nice start! |

- Liked this line for its mixture of grimness and humour.
Your Luna was perfect; odd-ball loveliness incarnate.
Charlie's slip of "six - and five brothers..." was wrenching and real.
Harry's musings on Remus' and Tonks's respective capacities to give romantic advice was good. Reminiscent of his recalling Dumbledore's 'few words' at that funeral.

Yes. On rereading, I realized that Ginny was more active in the battle than I had remembered, but even so—a couple of Luna's interactions with Harry (in person or through her unforgettable room) were really quite spectacular.
I think in JKR's mind, Ginny was a given. She was Harry's mate. And so her best dramatic use was absence, if that makes any sense at all. But I'd have loved to have seen more of her...
So I wrote some more. |
