| It really was wonderful. Strange to see all of Harry's friends grow in power and abilities, but Harry wasn't the super power in this. Maybe in the next one ????? I know you don't want to do another, but you are so good at it. You may not have invented this world, but you sure know what to do with the people who live in it. Thank you for a very good read, 10+. - CDH |

Really nice story. Open ended enough to allow additional stories off of it as well.
What happened to the Slytherin student that helped with the boggart? That would make an interesting one shot.
What happened with Petunia while she was at the Burrow with Molly?
Anyway, thanks for writing. It's good to read these stories. I do enjoy them. |

Just read this today. I really enjoyed it. It had a bit of everything; mystery, love, friendship, etc. Loved the happy ending, too.

I read this over at Sugar Quill long years ago before I was brave enough to leave reviews and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it both times.
Your version of what was going to happen matched JKR's in several aspects so it was fun to re-read Just Plain Harry knowing what the 'official version' said.
I'm glad it was chosen to be the Story of the Week. |

Lovely ending. Absolutely lovely.
I just hope the vision about their future is in GWIHOW.
Oh. And this sentence just made all my Harry Potter-related dreams come true:
"Sirius," he said, "is going to take care of Dudley." |

Great story! Lots of new magic, new characters and romance without a
nauseating aftertaste. The death of the Creevy family and Hagrid are
tragic but realistic in a war situation like this. I like the attitude
of enjoying life despite the depressing situation and the danger.
I think there would have been more pressure on the ministry to face the
facts after all students learned of the Creevy massacre. Surely they
would write home about it. Also I'd expect the newspapers to be more
like real-world newspapers and jump at opportunities to print stories
of catastrophes.
