Very well plotted, amazing letters between Bill and Remus.
I don't know if McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey were necessary for the story, but you write, you choose.

Monday 28th December 2009 18:06 | From Darkness, Light | Such a nice story! And plausible as well. I always believed Ginny spent a lot of time with Remus in her second year.
Mixing the narrative with the letters made the story fresh and fast-paced and the characters more alive and true. I especially enjoyed Bill´s first letter to Ginny - full of brotherly love and affection give Ronny a hug, shake Percy’s hand and smack the twins upside the head for me, would you?
But besides a wonderful story you gave us quite a little food for thoughts:
- the events of the Chamber are indeed too horrible, almost too much to be handled by 11/12-year-olds
- not to mention a year of being possesed by an evil Horcrux
- Ginny must have had some kind of tretment/counselling; and she really is a one powerful witch to have come to terms with all of her ordeal
- Harry should have had some kind of ... whatever; way too much on his young shoulders, isn´t he...well, brave!
- poor Moony, he lost so much on that November day back in 81! (btw, the mini-story about Harry´s first four words was adorable!)
- how come Snape had no idea Pettigrew was a Death Eater?!?
Oh, and the end, Remus with Sirius going to Egypt!

Normally, I don't read stories that consist of a lot of correspondence, but this one held my attention to the very end. The letters were not only realistic, but they were interesting as well. And it was nice to have some pieces of narration and dialogue mixed in.
And I just love the idea of Remus and Bill becoming friends. I always thought of them becoming closer after Bill got attacked by Greyback but had never considered this. It is a very good idea and executed well. I really like the care Bill shows for Ginny. I have four older brothers myself and am the only the girl and the way you wrote that relationship seemed just perfect to me.
