I've seen this appearing for a while but haven't had a chance to read it yet... I've just re-finished reading J.K.'s original 7 so that it would all be fresh before starting this one and I have to say I'm really enjoying it so far! Will continue to read...

P.S. You are so right about the movies.. they're good but they did change too much!

Oh, I'm sure there are some folks who could resent Harry just fine.

And I'm so pleased that you like The F Words. They feel like pencil sketches next to the kind of tapestry you're weaving. I loved Ron here!

LOL! You think? I think the F words are brilliant. I always get engrossed in your writing. I'm glad you like Ron. He's one of my favorites, and I think he gets the short end of the stick in fics a lot.

Very nice story! I also like these After the End stories. I'm not sure why Charlie would behave like that, but you did all the other characters very nicely. Thanks for sharing

Charlie has been away for a very long time. He's feeling guilty for that and for all his family went through. It expresses itself differently in different people.

Great beginning. I used to follow you and a lot of HP FF almost 15 years ago! Just saw this and got hooked again!

Thanks much! I, too, left the fandom behind for a while, but as my beta reminded me - Hogwarts will always welcome you home!

Oh, wow! Protective!Ron I love your way of seeing him. Hermione cares, of course she does, but I think those weeks for Ron away the Hermione and Harry really shook him and showed him just how easy it is to lose those close to you and then Harry goes dies on him as well. No wonder Ron is upset when he notices that Harry has disappeared, he remembers what happened last time (Harry died)!

So funny as well how Ron still doesn't want Ginny to date anyone but if she has to ut better be Harry. I can see Ginny having mixed emotions about that, better watch for those bat-bogeys, Ron. Although I think Charlie is closer to being hexed (again) by Ron and/or Ginny.

Perceptive!Protective!Strong!Ginny as always fun to read, you portray her so well.

Another lovely chapter. Can I please have the next chapter tomorrow?

Shoot, you're going to make me wait a whole week aren't you?

Spark!!! Now my return to fanfiction is complete, lol! It's such a nice blast from the past. And I get not one, but two reviews from you.

I hope you continue to enjoy the story, lots of characters dealing with lots of issues so there's plenty to play with.

Really, really fantastic. It's good to see the aftermath fleshed out.... I DO hope poor Harry's appetite returns soon... he was always too thin! #mrsweasley Keep up the great work and I look forward to more!

Bravo for another wonderful chapter! I loved Ginny's thoughts about Harry when she first woke up. She's so full of hope for their future at that point, but still willing to wait until Harry's ready to take whatever steps they need to reconcile.

Ron's reaction to Harry's absence really rings true. I agree that he'd panic from not knowing where his friend was so soon after the battle. It's going to take a while for his self-preservation instincts to stand down. I also enjoyed his talk with Charlie; especially, the fact that Ron is the brother who rode a dragon, while the one who works with them for a living never has.

Finally, Harry's talk with Kingsley, Bill and Professor McGonagall certainly showed how much he's matured in the last year. That Kingsley and McGonagall would ask his advice on various things is such a sign of respect and acceptance. I'm glad he's finally getting what he's due.

Oh, yes…books RULE!

Thanks, Arnel! Yes, Ginny is bold and will speak up for herself, but Harry also characterized her as "his best source of comfort," and I think that's what he needs right now.

I'm glad you liked the scene with Ron and Charlie. That ended up being one of my favorites, too. I think all of the Weasleys, plus Harry and Hermione, will have to go through some sort of PTSD after such an intense war. For Ron, it comes out in the need to know where both his friends are at all times, and Charlie has guilt for being away for so much of it while his family suffered.

I had all but given up on this piece of the story - thank you for filling the void, and for doing it so well!

I loved this one. I know I've said it before, but too many stories have everyone happy-go-lucky back to their normal lives within days of the final battle. Nobody could go through what they did and just be normal again. So, Ron's fear when he couldn't find Harry; Harry's and Ron's quick reactions when Charlie got huffy, everyone's reactions were exactly how I can imagine it being after such a horrible war. Only thing, I wanted to see the rest of the scene in the common room, when Arthur told them all to sit down. grin. A painful but very moving chapter. You have all the Weasleys perfect, just as they would act. And yeah, books rule!

We're definitely coming from the same place, Sherry! Normal is a long way off. Sorry, I didn't write the scene with Arthur scolding them all. I do love Arthur. I think he's one of the most underused - and underrated - characters in fanfic. I'm guilty of it myself, so Arthur gets a lot of page time in this one.
