Friday 21st October 2016 17:10 | It Opens | I really like this story, but I think my favorite part isn't something Remus or Tonks said, it's Lyle's thoughts about life being a jigsaw puzzle. That analogy hit me and made so much sense, especially when you're trying to work out that puzzle with the members of your immediate family.
That said, Remus and Tonks can look at that puzzle in two ways, I suppose. The first is that their life together is like a thousand-piece puzzle where every little encounter, conversation between themselves or others, or incident is one tiny part of the whole. The second is more like a child's puzzle made up of just a few pieces, the really important things, that make up their lives and their life together. For this story, I'm thinking the latter is about just one important piece and I don't think that piece will get lost and ruin the puzzle.
