i loved it! i will admit, I don't usually find myself reading or enjoying fan fics where Harry and Ginny aren't together but this one was well written and very fun. I thoroughly enjoyed it. |

This is a wonderful story. Loved the fact that Gin-Gin has been upset at Harry, however, he loves the fact that it gets under her skin. This is not the typical love story that I've read on Phoenixsong and that is another thing that makes it great. Keep up the good work. |

Haha yes! So funny and cute, I love this story! Harry and Ginny fighting reminds me of James and Lily fighting, it's so cute!

Hilarious! Good thing Harry knew why Ginny 'hated' him, eh? And for Harmione to ask someone else to furnish her house - she obviously can't be the smartest witch of her generation. Or, being that means you have no common sense. Still, they got what they deserved, I guess. And they probably ended up loving it after a few years, just like Harry predicted.
Cheers! |

Hilarious! Just priceless... Harry being a more James-ish self if that makes any sense I think a sequel is highly in order! I want Ginny to figure it some more items on the Harry-likes list |

I love this story so much, it seems out of character at first, but I can totally see Harry and Ginny acting this way around each other if things had gone a little differently. Actually, I can see them acting how they do at the end of the story all the time.
I also love that Trelawney answers Harry's Floo grate, it's so awesome. It reminds me a lot of the gargoyle in the Enchanted Forest Chronicles who screens calls from the magic mirror. Have you read those books or is just a brilliant coincidence? Because if you haven't, you definitely should.
Anyway, yeah. Fabulous story. |

"You know, this is nice. We never swear at shop assistants together any more."
I've read this thing about ten times and I've come to the conclusion that this is quite possibly the funiest story I've ever read! |

Brilliant! That was one of my favorite one-shot stories. I smiled throughout as I imagined myself following behind them and listening to and watching all the teasing and flirting going on. Harry seemed so in control as Ginny's anger slowly melted and she re-discovered her feelings towards Harry. Great idea for the list and even Hermione's shreak at the end was hilarious. |

I love this one shot! I've read it before and bemoaned the fact that I couldn't remember where I read it! Now it's here and I'm very happy.
I like fiesty Ginny and humorous Harry. We don't see enough of Harry just being himself. And the way he was buying furniture that didn't quite match was so sweet. LOL.
Great job! |

Hey, I remember reading this at least a year ago on livejournal somewhere!! Classic story, I just had to read it again. A great brand of humour throughout, with a wicked sort of 'slap stick' feel, and yet the story never lapsed into lightweight parody; it held my interest througout as a 'serious', 'I hope they get together after all' story as well. So I was sated on both jocular and dramatic fronts with this tale.
Hermione's "forty-seven reasons" - with Ron's rebuttal - has got to be one of the funniest images out there. And the ongoing, ever unwinding string of Ginny's ex boyfriends was funny.
Thanks for posting the story! |

, I love your imagination!
First of all, starting this shorty with Ginny disgusted with Harry sets this apart from virtually all others. The fact that she sees him as, “… an annoying prat, he's selfish, he's arrogant and whenever I spend any time with him I end up wanting to shove my wand up his-". The reply you had from Hermione was perfect too. Ginny misunderstanding Hermione’s referring to Harry as being a potential boyfriend instead of helping with the shopping is classic. I think we can all appreciate someone going off in a tizzy about something they jumped to conclusions about, only to be left red-faced with humiliation.
The whole shopping excursion with the dialog between them was absolutely hysterical. It made me think of the movie When Harry Met Sally. I kept smiling to myself as each passage went by because I could see the ‘balloon-ready-to-burst’ Ginny slowly being deflated. One person’s total lack of what is going on under their nose in many ways and mistaking actions as hurtful instead of being done out of friendship or love. You did a great job of slowly whittling away the frosty exterior that she had toward Harry until:
"No, I mean, yes. I have. This one… she met his gaze. This one is the right one." Well worded!
The top two laughers of this fic though (for me), were Harry having Trelawney’s portrait as a nosy-body deterrent and the names of all the shops that they passed by or stopped in during their excursion.
~This one rocked! |

Great little story! I really enjoyed it - although I didn't want it to end! They way you portrayed Harry was perfect. I could really envision him tormenting Ginny in that way. Keep up the great work! |

Haha, Funny story. I liked the ending. I havn't really read a story where Harry and Ginny hate each other in a while...but this one was one of the better ones that i've ever read. Awesome Plot. You're an awesome author! |

Harry's a bit out of character, but that didn't stop me from grinning through the whole story. Thank you. |

Oh my god, you really cracked me up with this one. Great job, and Harry's very in character. He certainly loves a challenge... I don't think I would be able to live in the same house with a portrait of Trelawney. I loved every bit of it, nice and fluffy. Thanks for a great read!

oo i loved this! harry and ginny really put me in mind of james and lily, and, just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to come up with all those pine and oak names?! hilarious...
will there be a sequel?...

Loved the story, especially the banter between Harry and Ginny. I really want to know what happens between Harry and ginny and what the house looks like that caused that reaction from Ron and Harry. Please say you are going to write a sequel/alternative point of view. Pretty please?

Great story. I always like reading about new ways for Harry and Ginny to get together, and this was definitely one of the most original I've ever seen. Thanks for making my evening. |

I've always enjoyed this story, but something happened in the posting and it got a lot of wonky characters inserted.
