I like the assymetrical background, as it seems to support the "unbalanced" nature of Bellatrix herself. My only quibble would be to "flip" Bellatrix within the circle, so that the white mask is against the black background, for a starker, more visceral impact. That being said, the way you kept Bella's black hair from disappearing into the black background shows a good eye for the use of negative space as a design element. Well done. |
Monday 18th April 2005 20:26 | Bellatrix Lestrange | That is, I must say, very, very cool. For some reason, I love the use of lipstick (wether it's supposed to be lipstick or not, it looks cool!!). The mask is symbolic and totally works in its simplicity. Ooooh, and I just now noticed the dark mark on her arm. Great goin'! :) :D ;) |
